Obtained passage of a tax credit for energy efficiency improvements to new and existing homes.

Secured a key vote in the Senate to overturn a Department of Labor regulation that would have resulted in major costs to our client.

Obtained passage of legislation to limit the practice of certain medical procedures to "qualified providers," thus leaving our client as the sole provider of such services.

Obtained a five-year Medicare reimbursement increase for a health care provider, despite reimbursement freezes and reductions imposed on virtually all similarly situated providers.

Demonstrated to Medicare (CMS—Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) that their re-classification of a particular product was in error, which placed our client at an unfair competitive disadvantage.  Working with our top-level contacts at CMS we helped correct the classification within a few weeks to restore the level playing field for our client’s product.

Successfully petitioned CMS on behalf of a client for the addition of two new billing codes.

In a tight budget year, secured $1 million in federal funding for a client in the military healthcare  industry.

Prevented the passage of legislation that would have eliminated the tariff on a foreign competitor’s product, providing it with a significant price advantage over our domestic pharmaceutical company client.

Obtained congressional recognition of prescription drug needs among nursing home residents in a budget bill report.

Secured a three-year, $40 million contract for classified communications technology for use by the U.S. military.

Introduced the manufacturer of automated external defibrillators to key personnel in a number of agencies, which resulted in several direct purchase contracts.

Obtained statutory language significantly minimizing the impact of tax law changes on family-owned farms.

Convinced the U.S. Postal Service to raise the insurance coverage limits for certain mail services.

Worked with Congress to get a provision exempting trade show income for tax-exempt organizations enacted into law.

Succeeded in overturning a provision enacted in 1986, which denied non-profit organizations the ability to establish 401(k) plans for their employees.

Helped restore U.S. citizenship to a former top Afghanistan government official.
