International Experience
Over the
past several decades, Timothy M. Haake has gained a wealth of international
experience through his civilian and military duties. In 1999, Mr. Haake participated in the
Harvard University Executive Program for General Officers of the Russian
Federation and the United States.
The program, sponsored by Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of
Government, was designed to increase cooperation and understanding between
the Russian and U.S.
militaries.
Mr. Haake
also participated in Harvard University’s Black Sea Security Program,
attending seminars in Cambridge, Massachusetts; Yerevan, Armenia; Moscow,
Russia; and Chisinau, Moldova. As a result of these programs, Mr.
Haake has developed close relationships with a number of businessmen,
military personnel, and political leaders throughout the Black
Sea region.
In his
military capacity, Major General Haake also served as the Senior U.S.
Escort on several delegations of foreign Military Attachés, leading
these delegations on tours of military installations throughout the United
States.
Mr. Haake
is fluent in Spanish and German.
