Edward E. Getterman Director of Government Affairs Born and raised in Waco, Texas, Edward E. Getterman brings extensive legislative and political experience to the Haake & Associates team. Mr. Getterman has served on the legislative staffs of two prominent Members of Congress and has campaign experience including polling, management, fundraising, advertising and grassroots outreach. Mr. Getterman has worked as a strategist at many levels of electoral politics. Immediately prior to joining Haake & Associates he served as senior advisor to two candidates for the United States House of Representatives. Recognized for his broad-based campaign skills, Mr. Getterman helped shape the strategies of candidates in two of the nation’s most hotly contested and closely watched races. During his tenure on Capitol Hill Mr. Getterman accrued an in-depth knowledge of and experience with federal regulatory and legislative procedures. He has expertise in a wide range of issue areas including the federal budget and appropriations processes, healthcare (Medicare and Medicaid), trade, telecommunications, energy and financial services. Mr. Getterman’s responsibilities on Capitol Hill included monitoring House and Senate committee and floor activity and coordinating with leadership.
